there is a most effective danger signal to
warn you—your car comes to a stop with¬
out any particular amount of damage
being done. It is different when you run
out of lubricating oil in your motor: there
are no warning signals, nothing to flag
your attention until great damage has
been done.
The greatest single factor in the eco¬
nomical and efficient operation of a motor
car is the proper lubrication of its engine.
Sufficient quantity, the right quality, the
proper weight or grade, and the frequent
replacement of oil are the things you
want to watch,
l*bu can solve all these problems by
putting nothing in your crank case but
Polarine, consulting’the chart of recom¬
mendations to determine just what grade
your ear requires, and renewing your oil
completely after it has beer used for six
or seven hundred miles.
There is no variation in the quality of
Polarine. Wherever you see a dealer who
displays a Polarine sign, you may feel as¬
sured that you can get there the finest
motor oil on the market to-day.

WHY WORRY?” IS GREAT
LLOYD COMEDY SUCCESS
How can Harold Lloyd keep up the
pace ?
That is u question that has puzzled
people inside the motion picture in
dustay as well Ss the millions of fol¬
lowers Lloyd has.won by this clean,
wholesome comedy on thfe screen.
Yet lie does. He followed "A Sail¬
or-M.ale Man” (with a great picture in
“Grandma's Boy.” He maintained
the pace with “Dr. Jack,” and with
“Safety Last” he hit a notch which
many felt it would be impossible for
him to hit again.
Nevertheless, he has in “Why Wor

shown at the Bijou theatre today,

that Lloyd cannot sot a pace too fast
for himself. Each picture he makes
it become lpora difficult, of course, for
hm' to equal its predecessor, bur by
a greater effort he always does.
“Why Worry?” was seven months
actually in production. He started it
in December, and the finishing
touches were not put on it until June,
or just before Harold and his young

JOST MARRIED
This city will be privileged to see
one of Jules Hurtig -and the Messrs.
Shubert's notable productions with
the same identical cast of characters
and the same identical presentation
which won for it the unqualified ap¬
proval of New York, Boston, Phila¬
delphia and Chicago during long tri¬
umphant engagements. The play re¬
ferred to is “Just Married,” the fa¬
mous laughing success written by Ad¬
elaide Matthews and Anna Nichols,
authors of “Scrambled Wives” and
“Nightie Night.” It is a honeymoon
farce comedy in three acts.
The story of “Just Married” cen¬
ters about a gently stimulated young
j man who gets aboard the French Line
steamship “Lafayett” by mistake,
j just before she sails from Bordeaux,
France, for New York. There are
several oddly assorted couples aboard,
old and young - , married and unmarried
—and some honeymooners, willing
• and willing - . From the time the stim
ulated gentleman comes aboard, with
out any effort or will on his part,
they are all so bedevilled, scrambled
and messed up that there is apparent
]y no untangling their difficulties,
There seems to be only two ways uot
the ship must put back to
Bordeaux, or the young man must be
thrown overboard. Things come
Hg - ht eventually after three hours of
hearty laughter, however, and the
voyage peacefully proceeds. “Just
Married” comes to the Grand Opera
House on Saturday, January 5, for
matinee and night.
