THE BRUNSWICK NEWS

GREAT RESULTS
METHODISTS OK BRUNSWICK TO
All, HAVE V CITY WIDE
CAMPAIGN
The fact that the Methodists of the
city are to engage in a city-wide re¬
vival campaign is of great signifi
ranee. The plan of holding services
at the First Methodist church and at
McKendree Methodist church sinvul
taneousiy is an evidence of wisdom on
the part of - the church leaders and will
serve to strengthen the religious
of the entire city.
Rev. S. C. Olive comes to McKen
dree Methodist church Sunday, Octob
er 3rd, and will have charge of the
preaching for two weeks. Rev. Olive
is from Fitzgerald and has a repu¬
tation for forceful preaching. Bruns¬
wick is fortunate in having the serv¬
ices of this gifted minister.
Rev. Guyton Fisher will preach the
first, sermon in the revival at the First
Methodist, church Wednesday nig-ht,
September 20th, and will be followed
by Rev. O. P. Gilbert, of the First
Baptist Church, who preaches Thurs¬
day night and Rev. T. W. Simpson of
the Presbyterian church, who direct;;
the services Friday night.
Sunday morning Rev. N. H. Wil¬
liams, the presiding elder of this dis¬
trict, will take charge and preach
throughout the following week. Dr.
Williams needs rto (introduction to
people in Brunswick. His strong
preaching and magnetic personality
insures large attendance upon these
services.
