GOITRE NOT A DISEASE
It has Keen brought to light by
acientific research that goitre is not
to he treated as a disease but as a
condition due to other bodily disturb- 5
ances.
Dr. A. A. Rock, Dept. I.-l.’i, Box;
87, Milwaukee, Win., a prominent
goitre specialist of 30 years’ experi¬
ence, has perfected a different meth¬
od of treatment that ha proven un
usually successful. This same treat¬
ment is now being used by goitre suf
ferers all over the country with splen
did results.
The doctor states that goitre is a
condition which grows worse with,
neglect and recommends inirnediale
attention no matter how small the
growth may appear, lie strongly op
postyi needless operations. Dr. Rock
is the author of a copyrighted bool,
that tells how anyone may now treat
their goitre with his method He has

was the same as testified at the death
of Maillefert, reported today it had
been moved six or seven feet; that
it was higher from the ground by three
inches; that the ventilator had been
raised from six inches to 24 inches.
The box, he continued, had been
moved two feet inward from a fence
and six feet closer to the stockade.
A convict testified the box had been
better ventilated since the Maillefert
incident, and attorneys clashed at
length last week over the size of the
box, one witness testifying it was not
of regular (3 by 3) size when Maille¬
fert was placed in it.
Judge George C. Gibbs ordered the
jury taken to the prison camp at noon
to look at the box.
Casque said Captain Williams, , in
charge of negro convicts now final;

alterations.
“Buddy” Pickett, a convict, was re¬
called for cross-examination as the
first witness today.
Pickett testified, under queries from
C. A. Avriett, counsel for Courson,

About a half hour after the door
closed, Pickett said the youth was
found dead.
“Was there anv slack in the chain
between the rafter and his neck?”
asked Avriett.
“There might have been a few inches

Persistent coughs and colds lead to
serious trouble. Y’ou can stop them now
with Creomulsion, an emulsified creosote
that is pleasant to take. Creomulsion is a
new medical discovery with tivo-fold ac¬
tion; it soothes and heals the inflamed
membranes and inhibits germ growth.
Of all known drugs, creosote is recog¬
nised by high medical authorities as one
of the greatest healing agencies for per¬
sistent coughs and colds and other forms
of throat troubles. Creomulsion contains,
in addit ion to creosote, other healing ele¬
ments which soothe and heal the infected
membranes and stop the irritation and in¬
flammation, w hile the creosote goes on to
the. stomach, is absorbed into the blood,
attacks the seat of the trouble and checks
the growth of the germs.
Creomulsion is guaranteed satisfactory
in the treatment of persistent coughs and

For Coughs Too Deep
To Risk A Lesser Help
Creomulsion was made to-deal with
coughs from colds which hang ou.
A three-day cough is a danger signal.
There the utmost should be done.
But a trifling oough may develop in
totsomething think deep and difficult. Don’t
you it wise to use the utmost
help, even if a lesser help might do?
Creomulsion combines seven major
helps in one. The seven best helps
known to medical science. One is
best for one type of cough, one for
others. Nobody can tell in advance.
So the best way seems to be to com¬
bine all in one prescription.
Creosote stands first. Here it is
blended, emulsified and tasty. For
soothing membranes and combating
sold germs, the world knows noth¬
