It is ordered by the democratic ex¬
ecutive committee of the 10th dish,
that the voters express their choice
for congressman on the 15th. As
Rill Fleming is the only candidate
in the field it will be well for all vo¬
ters to see that his name is on their
ticket at the primary next Tuesday.

A Dramatic Club.
Efforts are being made by some of
our young people to organize a “Dra¬
matic Club” in Lincolnton. A
meeting will be called for some date
in the near future at which organiza¬
tion will be perfected., This club
is a certainty and our people will be
treated with some lugh classed, moral
plays and no others.

Our clever friend Charley Bentley,
of Leathcrsville, was in to see us

line from Leverett to Lincolnton at

ness men into forming a joint stock
company for the purpose of making
this extension, blit failing at this, he
