Mr. Henry J. Purser, one of
Wheeler’s best farmers and
business men, came over to at

large farming interests in Wheel

zens. He made the Eagle office
a very pleasant visit while here,

is the attractive guest of the Misses
Sikes, at their home in West Alamo.
Mrs. R.R. MeAllum and son, Corbett,
returned Wednesday from a few days’
trip in Appling county.
News has reached here of the killing

coming primary. Mr. Pope is well
known to the people and has made the

higher estoem than Mr. Pope, and can
teonot on his friends rallying to his
support.

Haddi n’s formal announcement to the
voters of Wheeler county, in which he
asks for reelection to the office of tax
receiver, Mr, Hadden has made good.
