Heavy Snow Storm.
This section is enveloped in the
biggest snow stormw remembered
in many years by oldest inhabi
tants. When folks arovse Wed
nesday morning and looked out,
the firstthing that met their
gaze was a sheet of snow which
continued to fall until about nine
o’clock, when it began sleeting
and continued a greater part of
the day. The sun came out
Thursdavy morning, however, and
the great banks ofice are fast
melting away, but we will have
some of it with us for quite a
while. If old signs do not fail,
we are promised a good crop

in sign the earth has been cover
