Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Hurwitz
returned yesterday from Savan
nah, where Mrs. Hurwitz has
been confined in hospital for
several weeks. Their many
friends are glad to learn that
Mrs. Hurwitz is rapidly improv
ing.
Mr R. P. Burkhalter of this
place, will not worry over the
advance in the price of tobacco,
caused by the European war.
He has quite a little farm of this
weed, right near his house, and
the prospects now look good for
a big yield. Mr. Burkhalter will
be well fixed for sometime to
come, in the tobacco line.

sent the town’s interest before
Judge Graham, in an injunction
