American Farmers
MAKE BETTER CROPS
The coming year rounds out an even century siace
the firr*use of Chilean Nitrate of Soda in tho
Unit;.! States.
Andrew- Jack-on, f;a—'-z ‘Y 1 ' Hickory”, of
Tennessee, was rreeid - z .e UrJtcd C . ... i
1830 when the to-. ... . toirnilrogen fertilizer
arrived by sailing vessel from far-off Chile. That
was years before we had the telephone,
the telegraph.
TO Bw ■^*Y Oh sheer merit .rione ... strict-
• ly on the basis of the good it
I has done, Chilean Nitrate to-day is the standard
nitrdgen fertilizer. Last year more then 800,000
farmers used it to make more money from their
crops. Every cotton champion in the Sou”: ... and
every corn champion... made h’s winning crop
> with Chilean Nitrate.
For nearly half a jentcry, Experiment Stations
have proved the valu^ of Chilean Nitrate. In Penn
sylvania, for instancy experiments have-been con
ducted continuously since 1881! The sus ss ob
tained by farmers who use it, leads many more
i each year to follow their example. Chilean Nitrate
pays back its small cost many times over.
Do not confuse Chilean Nitrate with other
fertilizers. It is the world’s only natural nitrate
nitrogen. Not synthetic, bfit the real thing, mined
and refined in Chile and nowhere else. It will pay
you to insist on Chilean Nitrate. It is quick-acting
, food for almost every crop that grows ... proved
by 100 years of use.
Special Offer — Small Package, FRtS
For 1 month we make thia special offer. We will
sendyou a sniall package of Chilean Nitrate absolute
ly free if you will mail your request right away.
This offer will not be repeated. Act now! Send us
your name and address, and mention Ad. No. 63.
