How Well Do You
Know Your Bible?
Adam God made out of dust,
But thought best to make me first,
So I was made before t{ie man,
To answer God’s most holy plan.
My body he did make complete,
Without hands or, legs or feet.
My ways and acts he did control,
But to my body God made no soul.
A living being I then became,
And Adam gave to me a name,
I from his presence then withdrew,
And more of Adam never knew 7 .
I did my Maker’s law obey,
And from them never went estray,
Thousands of miles I go in fear,
But seldom on earth appear.
For purpose wise which God did see,
He put a living soul in me.
A soul from me my God did claim,
And took from me that soul again.
When from me that soul had fled.
I was the same as when first made,
Without hands, or legs, or soul,
I traveled on from pole to pole.
I labored hard by day and night,
To fallen man I gave delight,
Thousands of people young and old,
By my death light behold.
No right nor wrong can I conceive,
The Scriptures I cannot believe.
Although my name therein is found,
They are to me but an empty sound
No fear of death trouble me.
Real happiness I shall never see,
To heaven shall never go,
Nor to the grave nor to hell below.
When these lines you slowly read,
Go search the Scriptures with full
speed,
For my name is recorded there, i
I to you do honestly declare.

MAKE COOLER WALKS
Walks made of flagstone, broken
concrete or used brick in varied
patterns are more pleasing to the
eye that those made of solid con
crete, a Georgia landscape specialist
advises. Furthermore, grass planted
between flagstones reduces sunlight
reflection and makes such walks
cooler.
