THREE STEPS TO HAPPINESS:
First, you must be yourself. You )
are not here by accident. Every- )
thing God made or created has its i
own personal identity. Each per-)
son can make some special contri-1
bution to the life of the world. )
Robert Louis Stevenson once I
wrote, “To be what we are, and ■
to become what we are capable of)
becoming, is the only end of life.”!
Cur Lord put it another way.;
“As my Father hath sent me, even )
send I you.”
It is essential tha t all humans)
know’ there is a purpose for life)
snd that each one has something ।
. special to live for. I see and meet;
people every day who have abili-)
ties that I do not have. Bint there)
is no need for me to be jealousl
for I rec lize God made me as I)
■ am and I am doing what He call-1
~ , I
ed me to do.
There are some iwho try to put
WHEELER COUNTY EAGLE, ALAMO, WHEELER COUNTY, GEORGIA
up a front and try to be some
thing they really are not. But
there is really no need for anyone
to put on for people know who
and what you really are. SO BE
YOURSELF.
Second, you must make up your
mind. “I have come to believe,
j says one well qualified person,
“that one major cause of failure,
unhappiness, and tension is in
ability to make a clear cut de
cision.”
David Jordan used to say, “the
' world turns aside to let any man
pass who knows where he is go
) mg.”
' The ability to make up your
!mi n d inspires self-confidence,
I gives you inner power and com
> mands the respect of your fel
) lowmen.
! God awaits to help you make
up your mind, WHY NOT CON
SULT WITH HIM?
Third, you must learn io be
; lieve. There are numbers of peo
) pie who are defeated, worried, un
> decided, over-anxious, and afraid
) to face up to their real problems.
But Jesus points out to us that
| there is hope if we will only learn
■ how to believe. Though some do
i not think so—trusting Jesus is
very important and essential.
We had to learn how to walk.
But we probably fell down many
times before we finally succeeded.
। But let us face it. we walk today
i because we kept trying. DON'T
GIVE UP. Jesus said, “All things
। are possible” if we believe. WHY
■NdT START TODAY SAYING,
"LORD. I BELIEVE."
