Judge llill reports that while in

nesday night, 7th inst., lightning
struck near the depot and shocked
a young Miss l Ivde so severely, she
was thought to be dead for some
time, but finely recovered.
A dispatch of the same date in
the Constitution, stated that the
house of Dr, Rosignoll was struck
by lightning. The family were so
severely shocked, some of them
had to have their clothing cut ofl,
