An Essay by T. S. Collins,
As 1 wan sli uiiirg through theHxdy

of a beautiful tree and soon fell asleep;
and in my slumbers wnudoied into

holders of this l.ami there came to me
a benutila! veurg Udv whose charm*
and bean'y lam unable to describe.
This most lancinating cmatuio I have
since learned is a faiiy. She was driv

saw; her chariot was overlaid with
gold. She 8H cd me what 1 was so

accompany her, and that she would,
with the grente*r imsginublfe pleasure,
show me the ‘trine piospcrity of our
library, Isg cod ai.d, taking a seat
by her, oil’we went, down the steeps
of tin eat a tearful rate. At last, we
reached our dciinatior; we t.ad come

is lull of iron, the doctors know
of no way of neutral! zing the effect
of tile iron. Perhaps they wouldn't
resort to it even it they knew it.
For it is the iron in the blood that
makes red-headed girls so strong
and good matured. It also is the
cause of freckles, which are very
good for the health. And it. is
noted as a singular thing—probab
ly also having some relation to
theiron in the blood—that mos
quitoes never bite red-beaded girls.
So you see, according to the dic
tum of this learned physician, a
redheaded girl has many ad van tag
