We conceive this step to be ho nest and judicious The ill effects arising from this heterogenious medium of change, should be obvious to the most superficial observer, as if not only gives an undue advantage to individu als, in as much as they pay no tax for the privi lege, and being printed on paper of inferior quality, very few return from whence they were first issued ; but strangers passing thro’ the country suffer considerable loss, by questionable bills being imposed on them, while remote from home.
