Royall, negro, was fined SIOO with an option of 30 days on the Brown Farm and his driving permit was revoked for six months when he appeared in police court on charges which included being drunk in an auto, carrying ocn cealed weapons and carrying a pis tol without a license. Officer A. G. Hayes made the arrest. The officer tstified he found Royall, drunk, under the wheel of an auto at Bol ton Lane and West Broad streets. He said the defendant had a pistol stuck in a belt under his coat. Roy all admitted drinking but sa'd he brought the pistol back and forth every day to his store and last night returned home via a negro amusement resort. Frazier, 20, negro departed from Savannah yesterday for the Brown Farm where he will spend the next 90 days as a result of his mistaking a fire alarm box for a police call box. Officer J. J. Dillon arrested Frazier and Bernice Green, also a negro, shortly after midnight last night. The officer reported the two were fighting on the street. Fraz ier had been drinking and fearing trouble after blacking the woman’s eye, pulled what he thought w r as a i box to summon the police. It turn- < ed out to be a fire alarm. A cruis- < ing police radio car saw the box i pulled and had the negro pair in tow when the firemen arrived.
