Miss Elsie Kuck Is Honored
At Bridge Party Given Here
Complimenting Miss Elsie Kuck
was the lovely bridge party given by
Miss Mary Eyler and Mrs. Robert
Thompson at the home of Miss Eyler
on West Thirty-Seventh street on
Saturday evening.
Bright garden flowers were used
throughout the spacious rooms and
the guest of honor was presented
with two lovely French prints by
Miss Eyler and Mrs. Thmpson.
Flr.rt prize, a perfume bottle was
won by Miss Juanita Graham, con*
eolation, a traveling kit, went to Miss
Elizabeth Beggs.
There were four tables of players
and refreshments were served at tho
Individual card tables. Placed on
each table was a miniature wedding
cake, with dolls decorating them rep
resenting members of a wedding par
ty. On the cake, placed on the
bride’s table was a miniature bride.
This afternoon Mrs. Lindsey P.
Henderson is honoring Miss Kuck
with a bridge tea. There will be
three tables of players, others com
ing in later for tea.
The party is being given at Mrs.
Henderson’s home on East Fifty-First
street. The guest of honor is being
presented with lingerie, and the high
score prize will be hose, while the
traveling prize is novelty bridge score

she is also a graduate. Since her
graduation from Agnes Scott she has
been associated with the college as
assistant registrar for the 1931-1932
session, and as general executive sec
retary of the Alumnae Association
since that date.
Like his bride-to-be, Mr. Mount is
dascended from distinguished fam
ilies, and his ancestors have featured
prominently in the upbuilding of the
South.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
James Monroe Mount of Gaithersburg,
Md. He graduated from John Hop
kins University and the University of
Virginia and is now connected with
the law firm of Sullivan and and
Cromwell, New York City. He is a
member of the Kappa Alpha frater
nity and was president of the graduat
ing class of 1931 at the University of
Virginia and editor of the Law Re
view.
Miss Hutton will be given in mar
image by her father and will have
no attendants. Philip Hutton, broth
er of the bride will act as Mr. Mount’s
best man.
Immediately following the cere
mony, the young couple will leave on
their wedding trip and afterwards
will make their home at 308 Bast
Seventh-ninth street. New York City,
N. Y.

Kindergarten will present their grad
uation exerises this evening at eight
o'clock in the Richard Arnold Junior
High School.

a brief talk.

YARBROUGHS TO MARK
WEDDING DATE TODAY
Mr. and Mrs. Watkins Yarbrough
will be at home this evening at 26
East Oglethorpe avenue to their
many friends in honor of the fif
teenth anniversary of their marriage.
The house has been beautifully
decorated with bright-colored summer
flowers and the dining table has a
lace cover with a lovely centerpiece,
a tiered wedding cake, flanked on
either side by tall white tapers in sil
ver holders.
Assisting in serving will be Mias
Clara Mathewson, Miss Betty Yar
brought and Miss Eda McDonell.
Though no invitations have been
issued Mr. and Mrs. Yarbrough have
asked that their friends call between
the hours of 8 and 11.

Mr. and Mrs. Hal Fulenwider, Jr.,
haw returned to the city from Tybee
and have moved to the home of Mrs.
Jessie Fulenwider on East Forty-
Ninth street, where they will be for
the summer.

Robert Roux, Jr., has arrived from
Atlanta, where he completed his
junior year at Atlanta Southern Den
tal collage. On June 13 he will leave
for Mobil?, Ala., from where he will
sail for a two months’ trip abroad. He
is with his parents. Dr. and Mrs.
Robert H. Roux at White Bluff.

John R. Dekle, Jr., leaves today for
Athens to attend* the commencement
exercises of the University of Geor
gia and receive his degree.

Miss Mary Eleanor Grantham and
Miss Martha Wilkinson are among
those attending Camp Reese on St.
Simon Island, for the next two weeks.

Miss Mary Farr will be a delegate
this week to the Young People's con
ference at Agnes Soott from the First
Presbyterian church. The conference
will list nearly two weeks.

was the supper party given in honor
of the class of 1936 of St. Vincent’s
Academy by the alumnae of the
school.
Most Rev. Gerald P. O’Hara, chap
lain of the association asked the
blessing and Miss Margaret McNally,
president, acted as toastmistress.
A dehghtful musical program was
with vocal numbers by Miss
Alice Price and Misis Margaret Steiber,
with Mrs. J. J. Gaudry and Miss
Margaret Steeg at the piano.
