PLANKS DRAFTED BY COMMUNISTS PARTY PLATFORM IS AGAINST FASCISM AND THIRD PARTY NEW YORK, June 25 (TP).— America’s Communist party is draft ing a platform today which will at tack the supreme court. The current convention is also writing planks against war and Fascism and the third party movement. Communist leaders are sure that Earl Browder laid down most of the planks in his keynote address. The general secretary slashed at Repub-1 licans and the newborn union party. I Then he pleaded for farm-labor legis lation and sharply graduated taxes to place the burden of revenues on those in the higher income brackets. Browder wants a curb on the power of the Supreme court and he is sure the platform will demand it. FACTORY CLOSES DOORS UNTIL DISPUTE ENDS LYNN, Mass., June 25 (TP)— The doors of Lynn’s largest shoe factory were closed on 1500 employes today. Company officials said the plant will not reopen until they reach some agreement with union officials. According to the union men, em ployes of the Gold Seal Shoe Com pany refused to go back to work this week when their demands for wage Increases were rejected.
