Captain O’Donnell Mickey Cochrane
Resting on a friend’s ranch in Wyoming, Mickey Cochrane hopes to
return to the baseball wars by the middle of July. The Tigers’ man
ager, suffering serious thyroid gland disorder, was ordered to leave
the team by Boston and Detroit physicians. He is pictured, right,
