Class C found Gene Banaud taking an exciting race from Miss Polly Chisholm in the Imp. Only a frac tion of a second separated the two boats as they crossed the finish line, and the last spurt by t?he Imp in an event long to be remembered in yachting circles. Austin Smith in the Shearwater was third, closely followed by Osprey of Beaufort. Trouble was the winner in the Class D event with Olin Mclntosh in Skidaway a loose second.
