July 14 (TP)—Great .Britain will spend more than $4,000,- 000 for the mass production of gas masks and $50,000 to build up her se cret service. The two items were in cluded in the 20 million dollar civil service appropriations estimates an nounced today. The gas masks will be a type picked I after extensive and expert investiga tion. They won’t be issued to the gen eral public unless necessary, but will be held in readiness in convenient centers about the country. However, citizens will be invited to take part in gas drills and get used to the masks. Words of Wisdom Bvery addition to true knowledge is an addition, to human power.— Horace Mann.
