The annual report of President
W. B. Thomas, of the YVrightsville
and Tenuille railroad is to hand, and
shows that the total earnings of the
road for the year endmg November
SO were $30,985 56. The expendi¬
tures for all purposes were $24,37S>,
46, leaving' $6,607 10 net earnings.
In the expenditure are included cash
for engine, $4,500; coach, $1000; flat
oar, $250; changejof gange, $1,008 53,
making the total net earnings and
betterments amount to $18,305 63.
Under the consolidation with the
Dublin and Wrightsville road the
earnings next year should nearly if
not quite double the above. The
W. & T. is in a prosperous condi¬
tion, apd we feel gratified at its^great
