1-16-1 (32) 124 Bulloch County
(Construction)
Notice is hereby given that
the State Highway Department
of Georgia is requesting the
bureau of Public Roads to ap
prove the design of Project
I-16-I (32) Bulloch County.
This project consists of grad
ing, drainage, paving and
bridges on that portion of 1-16
from a point just west of State
Route 67 extending easterly
11.634 miles to the Bulloch-
Bryan County Lines tieing into
the existing Interstate con
struction. This is a four-lane
Limited Access rural high type
facility. Access will be provid
ed at Interchanges at State
Route 67 and S-1838. Grade
separations will be at a county
road that connects to PR-6909.
Our request for Bureau of Pub
lic Roads Design Approval also
included the addition of an In
terchange at State Route 119,
along with the request for ap
proval of the overall project.
The purpose of this project is
to complete another section of
the Interstate Highway between
Macon and Savannah.
