Bennett, Wyatt Adams, A. B. Joiner, J. W. Everett and J. G. Wood. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Wyat! Adams and J. W. Everett were appointed as a committee to in¬ vestigate and see whether it is necessary to turnpike a certain part of Meigs and Harmony Chuach road and report at next meeting. The following resolution or or¬ der was passed towit: It is hereby ordered by Com¬ missioners of Roads and Reve¬ nues of said county that the road commissioners of each district to call together the road overseers under their supervision and in¬ struct them to summons together the road hands and work their respective roads immediately as it is reported that the public roads are in very bad condition. A petition was presented ask¬ ing that, a road be opened on the Mitchell and Decatur counties’ line. The commissioners met pur¬ suant to adjournment. Present, T. R. Bennett. Wyatt Adams, A. H. Joiner, J, W, Everett and J. G, W< od. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. On motion it was ordered that $1.1)0 tax paid by C. R. Rodgers be refunded. I. C. Stubbs was appointed road commissioner in the 791 district G. M., A. E. Powe former commissioner having moved from said district. A. B. Joiner and J. G. Wood were appointed as a committee to have $5,000 insurance more or less taken on the court house. On motion the following was allowed J. L. Stewart, tax collec. tor, on insolvent list towit: $200 on ad valorem tax and $100 on poll tax. On motion it was ordered that the road commissioners open up the county line road between Mitchell and Decatur counties whenever Decatur county cuts her part of the road.
