In P.'.vis? of Ciuaharl in's Colic, Cholera a.d Diarrhoea Remedy. “Allow mo to give von a few words in praise of Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy,’’ says Mr. John Hamlott, of Ragle Pass, Texas. *‘I suf¬ fered one week with bowel trouble and took all kinds of medicine without get¬ ting any relief, when my friend, Mr..C Johnson, a merchant here, advised me to take this remedy -After taking one dose I felt greatly relieved and when I had taken the third dose was entirely cured. I thank you front the bottom of my heart for putting this great remedy in the hands of mankind.” For sale by Lewis Drug Co, Qood Advice to Boys, Major G. M. Ryuls, of Savan¬ nah, after disposing of his crop of Elbcrta peaches in Worth county said to the Savannah Ntws: “It seems to me that farming .nd fruit-raising in South Geor¬ gia offer an unusually fine op¬ portunity for young men. If I were a young man I would go straight to South Georgia and grow up with the country. The young man who does this will get plenty of help and in time can buy his own property. “I would as ayoungman, plant corn and cotton, not forgettiog ground peas. I would raise my own hogs and cows, I would al¬ so marry and settle down, As the family grew up the boys cogld help in the work, I know of no better place to live or where living will be cheaper and more healthful than the place named. It’s far better than being a clerk in a store with no future. They can raise chickens, keep cows, and havj their milk and butter. They won’t have an inspector of milk there.” This is excellent advice to the young men and boys of Georgia and of the whole country, based on provable facts. Tha‘. Georgia—middle and low¬ er Georgia—affords the beat known soil for fruit culture in the world goes without saying. That it promises exceedingly well for stock raising there can be no doubt. Grain and grasses grow almost to perfection. And as to cotton, it is now pretty well es¬ tablished that the world will con¬ sume at good prices all ot the staple that the South can pro¬ duce with the labor that the South can command. A Georgia farm with a peach orchard, with grain well cared for, with cows and pigs and poul¬ try, with a well tilled “patch” in cotton, affords the best living— the best means of support—the most inviting field of endeavor now to be found. The blossom¬ ing hills and the verdant valleys stand idle and waiting. There is more “life in the old" land yet” than there is living in the over¬ crowded towns and cities.—Ma¬ con Telegraph. When troubled with constipation try Chamberlain's Stomach and Liver Tab¬ lets. They are easy to take and pro¬ duce no striping or other unpleasant ef¬ fect. For sale by Lewis Dmg Co. Irish Potato’s 300th Adversary. 'Maybe you don’t know it,” said the gentleman connected with the U. S. Agricultural De¬ partment, ‘‘bat the year 1904 is the three hundredth anniversary of the planting of the potato in England, which has since become known the world over as the ‘Irish Potato,’ and is the most reliable and generally used vege¬ table that grows. Sir Walter Raliegh brought the first potato from America in 1797 and experi¬ ments were made with it in the garden of Gerard, the botanist. But its earlier popularity was confined to the upper classes and it did not come into general use for two bunrlred years. Sour Stomach.
