The fashion pages are unusually attractive, illustra ting, and describing the very la¬ test modts in a way to make their construction during the busy fes¬ tive season a pleasure instead of a tast, and the literary and pie* toriol features are of rare excel¬ lence. A selection of Love Songs from the Wagner Operas, render¬ ed into English by Richard de Gallienne and beautifully illustra¬ ted in colors by J. C. Leyendeck er, occupies a prominent place, and a chapter in the Composers-* Series, relating the Romance^ of Wagner and Cosima, is an inter¬ esting supplement to the lyrics. A very clever paper entitled “The Court Circles of the Republic.,” describes some unique phases of Washington social life is from an unnamed contributor, who is said to write from the inner circles of society. '1 here are short stories from the pens of F. Hopkinson Smith, Robt. Grant, Alice Brown, Mary Stewart Cutting and Elmore Elliott Peake, and such interest¬ ing writer-; as JuliaMagruder, L. New Way of Using Chamber¬ lain’s Cough Remedy. Mr. Arthur Chapman writing from Durban, Natal, South Africa, says: "As a proof that Chamberlain’s Cough Rem¬ edy is a cure suitable for old and young, I pen yon the following: A neighbor of mine had a child just over two months old. It had a very bad eougli and the parents did not know what to give it. I suggested that if they would get a bot¬ tle of Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy and put some upon the dummy teat the baby was sucking it would no doubt cure the child. This they did and brought about a quick relief and cured the baby.” This remedy is for sale by Lewis Drug Co. tCodoi Elyspepsia Sure Digests what you eat.
