BIG CIKCUS AT VALDOSTA.
Barnum and Bailey to Exhibit
There on Saturday, Nov. 6.
The Barnum and Bailey greatest
show on earth is to visit Valdosta
on Saturday Nov. 6. Never since
the beginning of time has an
amusement enterprise so tremen
dous in size been organized as this
one. Its magnitude is almost be¬
yond belief. All America, togeth¬
er with every foreign country, has
been scoured from end to end by
agents of this big show in search
of novelties and the result is a per¬
formance brimful! of sensational
acts new to the circus world. In
the big Barnum & Bailey show are
nearly 400 arenic stars, most of
whom are seen now for the first
time. A new sensation will be
seen at every performance in
«JUPITER, the balloon horse.”
This remarkable animal with its
tearless rider ascends to the domb
of the circus tent in a balloon
descends to the ground in a shower
of fireworks. Nearly 1000animal
wonders are to Ire found in the big
108 «»ge menagerie. 8 herds of
elephants, including one herd that

other strange beasts. Barnum &
Bailey’s big, new, free street pa
rade is the most gorgeous proces
siorml display ever attempted in
the history of circus business. Its
tremendous size and wonderful
length cau only be believed in the
actual seeing. It is natural to ex¬
pect this big circus to lead all
others in quality and quantity of
its street spectacle as well as in
other departments of the big show,
yet never in its splendid history
of nearly half a century has it dis¬
played such extravagance as is
shown this year.

Its a Top Notch Doer.
Great deeds compel regard. The
world crowns its doers. That’s
why the American people have
crowned Dr. King’s New Discov¬
ery the King of Throat and Lung
remedies. Every atom is a health
force. It kills germs, and colds
and la grippe vanish. It heals
cough racked membranes and
coughing stops. Bore, inflamed
bronchial tubes and lungs are
cured and hemorrhages cease. Dr.
Geo. More, Black Jack, N. €.,
writes “it cured me of lung trouble,
pronounced hopeless by all
doctors.” 50c, $1.00. Trial

Edwin R. Weeks Co.
The Edwin R. Weeks Company,
the first of the Alkahest Lyceum
attractions scheduled to appear in
Camilla this season, gave their en
tertaiument in the Auditorium
Thursday evening of last week to
a well-filled house.
The performance was entirely
up to the expectations of all who
attended. Mr. Week’s sketch¬
es were the most humorous presen¬
ted in Camilla iu a long time, and
the audience seemed to appreciate
his efforts thoroughly.
Miss Sinclair, with her violiu,
and Miss Gillespie at the piano,
were much enjoyed by those fond
of good music.
The next attraction will be the
Robley Male Quartet, November
39th, which is recommended as be¬
ing one of the best on the road and
which w ill probably draw a large
audience.
