AN INtQUALLbl) RE¬
CORD.
Many Students Placed In
Good Positions During
the Month of August.
The Employment Burea of the A
thens Business College of Athens,
(Ja placed many of its graduates in
, month of
good positions during the
August. We doubt very much if
there is another school in the state
that has placed half as many during
this particular month.
If there is a former graduate of the
A.B. C. out of employment, we will
be glad to have him write the Em¬
ployment Department at once, for
from present indications, it will not
be long until we will not be able to
supply the demand for our graduates
of Bookkeeping—Business Training,
Shorthand and Typewriting.
If you know of anyone needing the
services of one of our graduates,
write us, for we make a specialty of
replacing our students in higher sal¬
aried positions. Often students who
have been out of school holding po¬
sitions for two or three years, find
that they have reached the top with
the firm for which they are working
and desire to get with a firm that can
give more work and pay better wages.
Thru our Employment Bureau we
handle all kinds of positions at sal¬
aries from $600 to $3000 per year.
Young people who have been con¬
templating entering our school but
have perhaps hesitated fearing thej
could not get a position, should aban
don such thoughts and arrange to en¬
ter at once, for just as surely as thej
complete our course of Bookkeeping
Business Training, Shorthand and
Typewriting, just that surely will we
place them in positions. The more
students we can graduate and place
in good positions, the more loyal
workers we have to aid us in the up¬
building of our school. When we
take young men or women who have
been earning practically nothing
and in from three to five months
time prepare them and place them
in excellent positions, it is a forceful
demonstration to their friends .that
it would ..-------- pay them to enter - our
school and take a course with/Us, so
it is a business proposition to< us to
first- thoroughly and practical “

tried many advertised remedies, but
the continued until I bought a battle
of Dr. King’s New Discovery; before

gone. This winter the same happy

once more banished the annual

Louisiana' Passengers
Must Not Drink
On The Trains.
The law enacted by the last
Louisiana state legislature,
making drinking out of one’s own
flask on railroad passenger trains
a misdemeanor punishable by j
fine or imprisonment, or both,
went into effect July 20. The
law is sweeping in its character.
It makes it unlawful for a person
to drink intoxicating liquors of
any kind in or upon any railroad
passenger train, coach, closet,
vestibule or platform, except in
case of actual sickness.
Trainmen are invested with
authority as police officers to en¬
force this law, and they are in¬
structed not to permit any viola¬
tions.

strong: He sayifT “My mother, who
is old and was very feeble, is deriv¬
ing so much benefit from Electric
Bitters, that I feel it’s my duty to
tell those who need a tonic and
strenghttiening medicine about it.
In my mother’s case a marked gain
in flesh has resulted, insomnia has
been overcome, and she is steadily
growing stronger.” Electric Bitters
