Under and by virtue of an order grant¬
ed by the Honorable Clayton Jones, ref¬
eree in the above stated case and court, I
will sell at public outcry, to the highest
bidder for cash, before the court house
door at Camilla, Mitchell county, Ga.,
on Friday, November 27, 1908, begin¬
ning at 11 o’clock a. m., the following
described property heretofore belonging
to Jesse Ilowze and J. F. Mansfield.
The following described property will
be sold as the property of the bankrupt,
Jessee Howze:
(a) Twenty acres of land, more or
less, in lot number twenty-four (24) in
the Tenth (10th) District of Mitchell
county, Ga., same being situated on the
north side of said lot north of a little
branch, being part of lot sold to J. N.
Hayes and Russell by R. B. Wingate.
(b) A one-half {%) undivided interest
in 113 acres, more or less, being part of
lot of land number one hundred and
thirty (130) in the Tenth (10th) District
of Mitchell county, Georgia, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner
of lot number seven (7) in Block “A” in
the plan of the town of Mapleton; run¬
ning thence north to the old stage road;
thence running with said road to north
line of said lot one hundred and thirty
(130); thence west to corner; thence
south along the west line to railroad
right-of-way.
(c) A one-half (}4) undivided inter¬
est in twenty-five (25) acres, more or
less, of lot one hundred and fifty-one
(10) in the Tenth (10th) District of
Mitchell county, Georgia, being the
south one-half (K) of a fifty-acre tract
in the northeast corner of said lot one
hundred and fifty-one (151).
(d) Also five hundred (500) acres,
more or less, in the Tenth (10th) Dis¬
trict of Mitchell county, Georgia, being
lots numbers twenty-five (25) and fifty
six (56), each of said lots containing
250 acres, mole or less.

town of Maples made by T. J. Killebrew,
Jr., August 10, 1904, said lots being part
of the original land lot one hundred and
thirty-one [131] in the Tenth flOth] Dis¬
trict of Mitchell county, Ga.
[f] Also one-half [%] acre of land in
the town of Maples, in Block “H,” be¬
ing lot number 1; and lot number 1 in
Block “A” in the town of Maples, as
shown on the map of A. B. Luckey sur¬
vey, being part of original land lot one
hundred and thirty-one [131 [ in the
Tenth [10th] District of Mitchell county,
Georgia.
[g] Lot number 31 in Block “F” also
lot 48 in Block ‘‘G, ” each being thirty
feet by one hundred and five feet; also
lots 47 and 45 in Block “G,” each con¬
taining one-half [j£] acre, beingseventy
[70] yards on the north and south sides
and thirty-five [35] yards on the east
and west sides, all being the survey of
Brim and King in the town of Cotton,
Mitchell county, Georgia, on the south
side of lot one hundred and thirty-one
[131] in the Tenth [10th] District of
Mitchell county, Georgia.
Also the following property will be
sold as the property of the bankrupt, J.
F. Mansfield:
[h] Three hundred £300] acres in the
Tenth [10th] District of Mitchell
county, Georgia, described as follows:
Lot of land one hundred and fifty ] 150]
containing 250 acres, more or less; also
all that part of lot of land one hundred
and thirty-one [131 ] containing 50 acres,
more or less, lying southwest of what is
known as the “Rabun Still Branch,” ex¬
cepting a right-of-way fifty [50] feet in
width, measured from the original land
line running east and west across the
north side of said lot heretofore deeded
to the F. R. & N. E. Ry Co.
[i] Also one hundred and ninety-four
[194] acres, more or less, in the Tenth
[10th] District of Mitchell county, Ga,,
being part of lot one hundred and fifty
one (151), being all of said lot except
fifty (50) acres sold to J. H. Brim in the
northeast corner of said lot, and also four
[4] acres sold to Henry Taylor, lyingand
being where his residence now stands.
[j[ Also what is known as the “Home
Place” of J. F. Mansfield, situated in the
town of Pelham, Mitchell county Geor¬
gia, containing 1 85-100 acres, less a lot
of 60x100 feet at the intersection of Cur¬
ry and Glausier streets sold to D. M.
Rogers, measuring 60 feet on Curry
street and 100 feet on Glausier street,
said “Home Place” being bounded as
follows;

Everett, on the west by Glausier street
and lot of D. M. Rogers, on the North
by Curry street, and on the East by land
of Mrs. L. L. Warner.
[k] Also 65 acres, more or less, in the
town of Mapleton, Mitchell county,
Georgia, being part of original land lot
one hundred and thirty-one [131] in the
Tenth [10th] District of Mitchell county,
Georgia, as shown on the map of said
town made by J. T. Killebrew, Jr., Au¬
gust 10, 1904, being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the center of what is
known as the “Still Branch” on original
land lot one hnndred and thirty-one
[131] at the center of the run of said
Branch where the line of the south side
of Second street would cross said Branch;
thence running east to where the south
side of said Second street would inter¬
sect the west line of Main street, thence
south down said line to within fifty (50)
feet of the log track of the Thomas N.
Baker Company; thence south down and
parallel said track to the original land
line between lots one hundred and
thirty-one [131] and one hundred and
thirty-two [132]; thence west on said
land lot line to run of “Still Branch”;
thence along run of said Branch to point
of commencing.
Also the following undivided one-half
[*4] interest in the business ot Spence &
Mansfield belonging to the bankrupt J.
F. Mansfield, and described as follows:
[l] All of his undivided one-half [J4)
interest in one certain tract of land con¬
taining one acre in the Tenth [10th]
District of Mitchell county, said State,
situated on the west side of the old stage
road on lot No. 110, bounded on the
east and south by lands formerly belong¬
ing to J. B. Miller, on the north and
west by lands of I. Maples; also all of
his undivided one-half interest in a cer¬
tain tract of land lying in the Tenth
District of said county of Mitchell on lot
No. 110, situated in the extreme south¬
west corner of said lot, measuring one
hundred and fifty [150] yards on the
east and about two hundred yards [200]
on the north, running from the west line
of said lot to the Thomasville and Al¬
bany public road, bounded on the east
by said public road, south by lot No.
109.
Also all of his undivided one-half in¬
terest in a certain tract containing nine
and one-third acres, more or less, except

gan, with one house on it next to Mar¬
garet Maples, bounded on the north by
half-acre sold to Ragan, east by Albany
and Thomasville public road, south by
District court house square, said tract
being a part of same tract bought by C.
S. Eady from Margaret J. Maples and
containing 8 % acres, more or less.
Also all of his undivided one-lialf in¬
terest in and to all timber leases, timber
privileges, fixtures, stills, tools, imple¬
ments, sheds, houses, 5 head of mules, 3
head of horses, 2 two-horse wagons, 1
one-horse wagon, 3 buggies and all other
property and fixtures purchased by said
Mansfield from W. W. Powell, and all
other interest of said Mansfield in the
business of Spence & Mansfield.
All of said property, except the prop¬
erty described in sub-division “1,” be¬
ing the undivided one-lialf interest of
J, F, Manffield in the property and busi¬
ness of Spence A Mansfield, will be sold
freed from all liens. The property de¬
scribed in paragraph “1,” being the one
half undivided interest of J. F. Mans¬
field in the property of Spence & Mans¬
field; will be sold subject to all existing
liens thereon.
All sales will be made subject to the
confirmation of the court. The success¬
ful bidder at the time of sale will be re¬
quired to deposit a check for 10 per
cent, of the amount of his bid, to be ap¬
plied on the purchase money if the sale
is confirmed, which will be returned to
him if the sale is not confirmed.
