was reported as making splendid

Director of Field Service, for the

that already more than 12,0(30 ad

the new ca mpaign by 500 new
members. While the new contracts
were coming largely from coun
tries not heretofore included in the
territory served by the Peanut As
sociatiou, the fact that nearly 2,000
additional acres have been signed
iu Mitchell County, which was
second in the State last year in
acrea ge' under contact, was poin
ted out as an indication that the
old territory would produce a large
part of the extra acreage expected
to be signed this year. Dodge
County, where the Association did
not operate last year, has signed
more than 3,000 acres, indicating
that that country will go in strong

enthusiastic meeting was held at

showing that peanuts will be plant

Contracts being signed this year
cover all crops grown or acquired
by the signers tor four years, as
opposed to a five year period cover
by the original contracts last

expire at the same time.
