Boys Clubs
Offered Attractive
Prizes For 1924
Boys, the date for signing up for
club work is here. We are very
anxious for all boys who want to
enter any of the clubs to sign up
and get their project under way
not later than April 1st, at the very
latest.
The prizes, offered this year are
very attractive aud a great many
boys should be interested in en¬
rolling in at least one of the clubs*
Cotton Club
The prizes offered in the Cotton
Club are as follows: To the boy
making the highest yield of cotton
on one acre will be given as
1st. Prize 5 cent per pound pre¬
mium on his cotton above the cur¬
rent market price.
2nd Prize, 3c per lb- premium.

The above prizes are being of¬
fered by the Pelham Business
Men’s Club of Pelham. The
Hand Trading Company of Pel¬
ham has further agreed to assist
the Club boys by furnishing to any
of those desiring it the necessary
fertilizer, cotton seed, and poison
on credit taking the boy’s own note
for these items till fall. Boys this
is a grert opportunity for you.
These prizes and this assistance is
very liberal. If interested please
eithlr see or write me at once, and
we will arrange the details.

or good grades of any of the pop

boys of the county between the
ages of 12 & 18 years of age. En¬

Prizes will be awarded based on
total production, ecouomy of pro¬
duction, and records kept on one
acre of corn of any variety.
Boys who are taking Vocation¬
al Agricultural work in any of the
schools of the county are entitled
to membership in any of the clubs,
and projects used iu connection
with this work may also be used
as a club project.
The prizes mentioned above
are extra aud iu addition to those
thar will be effered by the Fair
Management this fall.
Boys who are interested in any
of the above clubs are urged to

since we must have all enrollments
