AMERICAN AIRMEN
REACH JAPAN
Minato, Japan,—The American
aviators flying around the world
overcame highly adverse coudi
ti ins Tuesday in completing
man’s co quest of the air by fly
ing fr in Yetorofu Island in the
Kurilesfi, to this little town in
Northern Japan. Foggy weather,
which at first seemed likely to
prevent them from accomplishing
the flight, later cleared somewhat
and they took off some hours later
in the day thau their flights usual¬
ly have commenced, driviug
through their objective.
The flight hither, completing a
passage of the Pacific by air, clos
ed the last gap in man’s aerial
navigation around the world.
Americans, British aud Portugese
li iving flown over the Atlantic,
British aviators haviug fliwn from
England to Singapore, and Ital¬
ians having flown across Southern
Asia aud up the China coast to
Japan, while British and Japanese
fliers have traversed the entire
stretches of their own countries.
The anival of the Americans
came as a surprise to many, early
reports that the weather was not
suitable for flying having received
general circulation among the
inhabitants, all of wht m have
Lceu in a state of high excitement
over the notable event about to
transport in their town.

with cramping spells which gave me bad pains in
my back and sides. Sometimes I would have to
catch at something, I would get so suddenly dizzy. i
... I had to quit doing my work. I tried many reme¬
dies, but none of them seemed to do me any good.
“In April I went up to Arkansas to visit my sister.
. . .
She said to me, ‘Willie, if you are going to take anything,
take Cardui. It will really help you/ I came home and told
my doctor what she had said and he said I could not take any
better tonic, so my husband immediately got me a bottle and
I began it. ... My case was a pretty tough one, I know, so
I kept on faithfully. After the fourth bottle, I began to feel
very much better, so much so that I was surprised at myself.
I have taken six bottles now and I can truly say I feel like a
different woman. ... I feel fine and I owe it all to Cardui,
