Post. The Eastman limes speaks thus of tho closing'exercises of the Dublin Acdomy: “It was our privilege to attend the closing exorcises of the Spring Term of Hie Dublin Academy on Thursday last. The examination, which con sumed tho entire day, was conducted in tho main by Col. W. S. Ramsay, tho principal of the schojl. Prof. R. II. Ramsay of Midway, who is one cf the oldest and most experi enced educators in Georgia, was in attendance and did not let an oppor tunity pass without testing the skill and thoroughness of ci^li class. McLeod says I10 had a good season of hail and wind last Saturday, but very little rain. - -The people in and around Mt. Ver non nro proud to wcleonio the family of Dr. S. II. Latimer back among them. They luivo boon living in Stewart county several years. The Dr. is still at his home; but pays us a short visit occasionally. Thoy re turned to enjoy the privilege of good schools.
