By some mismanagement the mail route from Dublin to Red Bluff has gone ihtb operation, while there j? no established Post#»fficc at Condor. This evil will soon be corrected, but in the mean time we hope all our subsclbers who expect to get their mail at Condor will notify us. We intend to send a Condor package by the mail car rier outside the mail pouch until the office is established, which will answer very well for a while. Wc will get out copies of the Post sufficient on Tuesday morning to accommodate our subscribers along the East side of the Oconee, and send them by the Red Bluff mail. We intend also to send a John Woodard package and a Beachum package. Parties concerned will please note the above and govern them selves accordingly. Fisher was tried for murder and cleared; Harrulson was sent to elmlngang ,, , „ five years for horse stealing; Henry Jenk- 111 0 £ ilS ins (colored) was given two years in the*" penitentiary for hog stealing; Jim Taylor (colored) was fined $50 and costs, or six months in chain gang for stealing a pair of pants; Byrd Hester who has made the tour of afi the jails In the lower portion of the State was lined $00 and costs or five months in the chain gang for disturbing public worship. Another effort was made to release from jail the Mrs. Perrys on a writ of habeas corpus. Tlie case was argued, but Judge Pate has not yet rendered hjs decision. A true-bill was found against Andrew Moye who was charged with killing Ches ter at Colley’s last summer.
