Not w ithstanding the many remedies that have been - ffered to the public, not any have heretofore 1 •Moved successful in procuring a certain imd ’ -needy relief. The proprietor having been an eye witness (for several years) of the astonishing virtues of this extraordinary Aledicine, at length deems it ! his duty to offer it to the public, in a way that it may receive a more extensive circulation ; and it a price that the poor may receive the benefit j ‘ of it, as well as the rich. Tliis Syrup is particularly efficacious m rc- j moving coughs, arising from colds, attended with hoarseness and soreness about the wind pipe ; likewise shortness of breathing, tightness across the breast, accompanied with a tickling ‘ cough ; and iu all consumptive cases its use is particularly recommended ; likewise whooping coughs is greatly relieved by its use children labouring under this distressing disease, in in numerable instances have been astonishingly benefitted in a few days; the pleasantness of it is a great advantage, as children will take it . with as much pleasure as they will sweetmeats. THE petition of Jacob W. Andrews, shew ed!, that lie was possessed of a certain promissory note made by Wyatt T. Andrews, in bis life time, for three hundred and seventy six dollars, dated about the 25th of January,: 1831, and due one day after date, payable to the said Jacob VV. Andrews, which said note is lost or mislaid, that it cannot now be found, a copy of which said note in substance, is now fil ed in the office of the Clerk of the Interior Court of said county. It is therefore ordered, That the legal heirs and representatives of the said Wyatt T. Andrews, shew cause, if any they can, at *he next term of this Court, why said ecw note should not be established in lieu of thcioM'Original.
