lolls before J. 11. Scruggs, one of the Justices
nf the IV roe lor said district, ns an i-stray. a
dark brown horse mule, with black legs, and a
sore on the let; shoulder, supposed to be two
years old hurt spring, four feet six inches high,
valued by J. W. Holmes and Josiah Carter, Nee
holders ol said county and district, to be worth
seventy-live dollars.
The owner of said estray, is required to
romo forward, pay charges and take said mule
away, or he wifi be dealt with as the law di
rects.

of said County, levied on as the property'of John

by a Constable.

in the 2nd District of Habersham County, it
being all the interest defendant has in and to

B. Nix, .Sen., to satisfy a ii-la issued from a
Justices court of said county, in favor of John

Stolen on Sunday night 10th in.st., at
the house of George 11, Taylor nine miles
from Clariiesvillo, a pair of pants, (Cassi
mcre) of dove color, with two books, one
containing, notes and receipts, tlie other
between iifty-eight (58) and sixty (00) j
dollars in money. The pants on the out
side of left thigh a sriaged place darned,
with black alpacea on inside, and on front j
right thigh another darn. Thief supposed j
