Savannah evening mirror. August 3, 1872, Image 1

The Savannah Evening Mirror was a short-lived daily newspaper published by M. J. Divine & Mr. Oliveros in Savannah, Georgia. The paper published during the 1870s out of the owners’ job printing office on 91 Bay Street. M. J. Divine was a manager of the Savannah Theatre, and the paper heavily featured theatre news. The Evening Mirror had a fate similar to many Savannah dailies trying to compete with the Savannah Morning News and ceased operations shortly after establishment.
