BCSO Arrests
Homer man faces several charges
Domestic-related incidents investigated
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office responded to the
following domestic-related incidents during the past
week:
•dispute at a Thompson Street address.
•dispute at a Hwy. 184 residence.
•harassment at a Mountain Creek Drive residence.
•battery at a Patchwork Tree Drive residence.
•assisted a woman in picking up possessions at a
Leachman Road residence.
•welfare check at an Otis Brown residence.
•verbal dispute at a Grant Mill Road residence.
•temporary protective order violation at a Hwy. 441
address.
•assault at a Hembree Road residence.
•assisted a woman while she picked up possessions
belonging to her and her children from a Lord Road
residence.
•harassment at a Hembree Road residence.
•dispute at a Hwy. 51 North residence.
•welfare check for a person at a Timberlane Street
residence.
•physical dispute at a Browns Bridge Lane resi
dence.
•dispute at an Elm Street residence.
Sheriff's office responds to accidents in county
A Homer man is facing a
slew of charges following
his arrest last week by the
Banks County Sheriff’s Office.
Bradford Ray Carlan, 50, of 260
Chatham Road, faces the following
charges: failure to appear for trial,
DUI (alcohol), driving with a sus
pended license, operating a vehicle
with suspended registration, exces
sive speeding, attempting to elude
a police officer, weaving, driving
on wrong side of roadway, failure
to obey traffic signs, window viola
tion, seat belt violation and failure
to give proper lane signal.
Carlan was one of 18 arrests
reported by the BCSO last week.
Also arrested were:
•Kenneth Gregory Alford,
30, 2551 Clifton Springs Road,
Decatur, failure to appear for trial.
•Wade Gunnar Anderson, 47,
953 Hill Park Place, Macon, dri
ving with a suspended license and
excessive speeding.
•Steve Bolton, 48, 2758 Hwy.
198, Baldwin, possession of a con
trolled substance.
•James Clayton Brown, 25,
195 Chatham Road, Homer, DUI
(drugs), seat belt violation and dri
ving with a suspended license.
•Charles Jason Davenport, 30,
115 Cathryn Way, Commerce, DUI
(alcohol), open container violation and
failure to maintain proper lane.
•Paul Murry Glovel, 51, 128
Frontage Road, Commerce, public
drunkenness.
•Michael Wesley Grier, 41, 689
Oscar Rucker Road, Maysville,
open container violation.
•Michah Jeffrey Hyatt, 30, 227
Plainville Road, Carnesville, DUI
(alcohol), fleeing a police officer,
and excessive speeding.
•Ashley Nicole Motes, 20, 110
