Magician Steve entertained the seniors with his whimsical humor and magical abilities. Dinner, prepared by Rita Pickens and Martha Crane, was also a part of the evening. BOY SCOUT SUNDAY CELEBRATED Homer United Methodist Church celebrated "Boy Scout Sunday” on February 10 at both morn ing services. The church sponsors Troop and Pack 106. In addition to scouts, cubs and their leaders, many men and women in attendance at the 11 a.m. service stood when asked who had ever been in Scouting at any time in their life. Eagles were also recognized. Tom Nix is scout master of Troop 106. Kevin Davis is cubmaster. Mt. Carmel to host Old Paths Sunday Mt. Calvary plans Men's Day Celebration Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Commerce, invites area men to participate in its annual Men’s Day Celebration Sunday, Feb. 24. There will also be a 3:00 p.m. service featuring the Rev. Rodney Lackey, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, Gainesville, who will be accompanied by his church family.
