The old panels around the arena were replaced with wooden posts and boards. These were provided by the park and recreation department. The new gates were provided by Owens Farm Equipment. BCHA president Sammy Reece, along with his wife, Kay, worked along side of Allen Farmer to drive the posts for the new board arena. “Mr. Farmer took a couple of days of his time to help out the club with this tough job,” club leaders said. “We thank him. The club’s members and an extra crew (provided by Dan’s Painting of Toccoa) came up to the arena on Saturday and finished nailing up the rails and hanging the gates to get the arena ready for the new show season.
