Opening Day Ceremonies

PARADE FESTIVITIES
The Royals were one of the teams taking part in Saturday's opening day parade through
Homer.
THE PARADE ROUTE
Baseball and softball teams in the Banks County Parks and Recreation Department took part
in the opening day parade Saturday.
PIRATES ON PARDE
The recreation Pirates rode down Historic Homer Highway before making their way to the ball fields
during Saturday's opening day events hosted by the Banks County Parks and Recreation Department.
BRAVES ON PARADE
The 9-10 year-old Banks County Braves team is shown on their opening day parade
float on Saturday. Members of the Braves include: Will Smith, Jody Poole, Luke
Schaefer, Hunter Payne, Cade Ridley, Easley Smith, Dylan Nix, Cody Ridley, Colton
Carter, Drew Bullock, Alex Amato, Kelan Dalton and Chance Frady.
