The bride-elect attended Habersham Central High School and is employed by National Auto Research of Gainesville. She is the granddaughter of the late Joe Todd, the late Beverly Todd, the late Emma Londigan, and Faith Goodell and the late Albert Goodell, all of Coweta, Okla. The prospective bridegroom attend ed Banks County High School and is employed by Clark Western of Jefferson. He is the grandson of the late Hubert and Gertrude Whitfield, and Irma Payne and the late Roy Payne, all of Homer. The wedding is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Charity Baptist Church, Homer. A reception will follow. Miss Wood is a student at Piedmont College pursuing a degree in psy chology. She is employed with First Georgia Banking Company. The future groom is the grand son of Paul and Dorothy Garner, Hollingsworth, and Marlene Worley, Homer, and the late Chevis Worley. Mr. Worley has an associate’s degree in business from Gainesville State College and is pursuing a bach elor’s degree in finance from North Georgia College and State University. Billy Whitlock will be selling and orga nizing the luminaries. They are $5 each and are in memory of someone who died of cancer or in honor of someone surviving cancer. She was the wife of long-time probate judge Milton Dalton. She leaves a host of other fam ily and friends. Her family and host of friends are in our prayers. Remember them when you pray.
