PICKING UP LITTER
The volunteers picked up plastic bottles and other litter around the city Saturday at the Alto
clean up day. Paige Cook and Hunter Tyler helped pick up trash along the train tracks.
CLEAN UP WHEELER STREET
The volunteers at the Alto clean up day were split
into groups for road assignments. Charlotte Kimbrell,
Caroline Thomas and Randell Thomas were part of the
group that picked up trash along Wheeler Street.

CITY, CHURCH ORGANIZE EFFORT
The city of Baldwin, in conjunction with Fellowship Church, organized the annual clean up. Many mem
bers of the church volunteered to support the effort. Pictured above are: Carley Jarrard, Chandler

According to Brandy Kyle, city clerk for Baldwin, this year had the largest turnout of residents, and Alto
State Prison sent 65 trustees to help in the effort. Pictured above are some of the younger volunteers.
