MES third grader writes about public library
Maysville Elementary School third grader, Jonathon
Ivester, wrote about the Maysville Public Library dur
ing a recent assignment on “My Favorite Place To
Go.”
His essay is as follows:
“My favorite place to go is the Maysville Public
Library. If I was blind, I would know it’s the library
because it would smell like flowers, people, and books.
In the library, you can see books and shelves all over.
Don’t forget the computers! You can hear trucks bring
ing in new books into the library. You can also hear
books being put on shelves. The library is my life. I
hope you love the library like me.
Jonathon is a student in CaDee Lee’s class.
