Arrests
Incidents
South Carolina man charged after traffic stop Several incidents reported to sheriff's office
A South Carolina man was arrested last week by
the Banks County Sheriff’s Office after being stopped
because the windows of his vehicle were too dark.
Kenyatte Richard Pixley, 31, 207 Chestfield Road,
Greenville, S.C., was charged with driving while
license suspended.
A drug dog was with the Banks County deputy who
pulled over Pixley and he “alerted” to something
suspicious in the car, according to Sheriff Charles
Chapman. A search of the car revealed $14,000 in
cash in suspected drug money. Sheriff Chapman said
the money was folded into different increments and
wrapped in paper.
Chapman also pointed out that when money is passed
from person to person, the odor of drugs stays on it.
