Born in Middelburg, N.Y., on April 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Leonard and Myrtle Caulkins Hoose. He attended Clarkesville Church of God, and was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Hoose; and sev eral brothers and sisters. He enjoyed word search puzzles, automotive repair and was also very musically inclined, loved ones stated. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and was a retired nurse. Mrs. Sprinkles was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Sprinkles. Survivors include sons, Roger Sprinkles, Nicholson, and Lanier Sprinkles, Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Flo Carter, Winterville; six grandchil dren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was retired from the Department of Transportation after 34 years of ser vice and was a member of Phi Delta Lodge #148 of Homer. Mr. Carian was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Carian and Fred Carian; and a sister, Helen McKinney.
