Gospel singing to be held August 2 Community Chapel Church will host a gospel singing and supper Saturday, August 2, at 6 p.m. Several music groups will per form. A cake auction will be held and the “Sons of Thunder” motorcycle group will be selling hotdogs and $6 chicken plates. A variety of bean dishes with trimmings will be served along with homemade ice cream for dessert. Eat-in or take-out orders will be available at $5 per plate. Five guest pastors are scheduled to speak as follows: Sunday morn ing, the Rev. Dugar Strickland; Sunday night, the Rev. Rick Price; Monday night, the Rev. Lynn Gibson; Tuesday night, the Rev.
