A man and his wife argued over several items including a computer, shotgun and medicine at a Borders Road residence July 23. According to a report from the Banks County Sheriff's Office, the married couple was in a dispute over a missing computer and shotgun when a responding officer arrived at the scene. The woman said her husband held her down on the bed which the husband denied. The husband countered that his wife had stolen some of his medi cine. The responding officer said the wife “did display some actions of someone under the influence of a controlled substance” although she Someone made off with some copper wiring from two homes under construction on Brookside Drive in Fula, according to a report from the Banks County Sheriff’s Office. The theft was discovered by the contractor who contacted the BCSO on July 23. OTHER INCIDENTS The BCSO also responded to the following incidents during the past week: •dispute over bill payment at TA Truck Stop. •e-mail fraud at a Sims Bridge Road residence. •items taken from a storage build ing at a Faulkner Drive address. •burglary at a Foggins Road resi dence. denied it and said her brother was coming to get her. OTHER INCIDENTS The BCSO also responded to the following domestic-related inci dents: •dispute at an Antioch Road resi dence. •dispute at a Windmill Farm Road address. •harassment at a Neal Road, Commerce, residence. •dispute and battery at a Lewallen Road, Homer, residence. •harassment at a Queen Road, Gillsville, residence. •dispute at a McClure Road resi dence. •suspicious activity at a residence under construction at a Gordon Road residence. •alarm at a Hwy. 441 business which proved to be false. •alarm at a Tanger Drive busi ness which proved to be false. •prowler at a Hwy. 164 resi dence. •vandalism to road signs on Scales Creek Road. •alarm at a Hwy. 441 bank which proved to be false. •abandoned vehicle on Tanger Drive. •entering an auto complaint at a Hampton Court business. •reckless driving on Hwy. 441. •trespassing at a Hwy. 441 South address. •trespassing at a Borders Road •assisted a woman in picking up her belongings from a Borders Road residence. •harassing text messages sent to a Scales Creek Road residence. •custody dispute at a Granite Road residence. •harassment at a Railroad Avenue, Lula, residence. •dispute at a Damascus Road resi dence. •phone harassment and violation of a temporary protection order at a Historic Homer Highway residence. •dispute at a Harmony Church Road residence. •suicide threats at a Damascus Road residence. residence. •livestock in roadway on Hwy. 51 South. •theft from vehicle at a Millstone Road residence. •alarm at a Spring Road, Baldwin, residence which proved to be false. •abandoned vehicle on Wilson Bridge Road. •trespassing on Rattle Trap Road. •damage to property on Granite Road a result of two trees being cut down. •burglary at a Duncan Road resi dence. •gas drive-of from a Hwy. 441 station. • ATV in roadway in area of Hwy. 59 and Brown Bridge Road.
