Horse association holds show Special night event planned for Aug. 22 The Banks County Horse Association had its July show on Saturday, July 12. “The day was hot but the show still brought out many participants,” organizers said. “The club wel comes you to come out and join us next month on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 9 a.m. The running classes will begin after 5 p.m. Bring your horse or your pony and have a good time. If you don’t have a horse, come out and enjoy the fellowship and food.” A special night show of the Banks County Horse Association will be on Friday, Aug 22, beginning at 7 p.m. This show will be a warm-up show for all the participants that will travel the following week to Perry to compete in the 2008 State Horse Show.
