At first I put it out in the barn to use for extra food space, but Tom started having 'parties' out there with his drinkin' buddies and then little Tommy snuck into his party supply stash. Well, I wasn't gonna have none of that. So I called the paper and put in a classified ad to sell the thing. That bunch at MainStreet Newspapers has got a pretty good deal where you can run an ad in all 5 of their papers for just ten dollars. It goes on the internet, too but I don't know nothin' about no internet. “Come Thursday, after the papers come out, my durn phone 'bout rung off the hook! People was callin' me day and night 'bout that refrigerator. The second guy that called bought the thing Friday morning and give me more than I was askin' for it. That was all well an' good, but everbody else didn't know I had sold the thing! I musta got fourtyleven calls that weekend. Like to have pestered me to death! One guy called Sunday morning as I was gettin' ready for church and wanted to come over so's he could see for himself that I wasn't lying about having done sold the thing!
