Baker, 60, of 3400 Hwy, 63, Carnesville, died Friday, August 1, 2008, at St, Mary’s Hospice House, Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Carey D, and Dorothy Byrd Baker and was married to Beverly Lewallen Baker. Ron was a veter an of the United States Marine Corps., having served in Vietnam, He received four Purple Heart med als, the Medal of Combat V, and the Bronze Star. Survivors along with his wife, include daughters, Alisha and Shane Roberts and Kayla Segars, all of Carnesville, brother, Don Baker, Five Points, Ala,; sisters, Kathy Brannon and Debbie Warburton, both of Lawrenceville, and Sheree Mayo, Gainesville; grand children, Morgan Roberts, Maribeth Roberts and Matthew Roberts; an aunt, Blanche Hodges, Dothan, Ala,; several nieces and nephews. Robby Hunnicutt Robby Lee Hunnicutt, 25, of Baldwin, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle acci dent. Born in Stephens County on January 28, 1983, he was the son of Terry Hunnicutt of Baldwin and mother and step-father, Debbie Tench and Chad Wade, of Cornelia. He attended Harvest Christian Church and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle, He enjoyed living life to the fullest. Mr. Hunnicutt was preceded in death by grandfathers, Wayne Eugene Tench and Robert Hunnicutt. Survivors in addition to his parents, include a brother, Neil Hunnicutt, Baldwin; step-brother, Zack Wade, Cornelia; grandmothers, Mary Lou Tench, Demorest, and Corrine Hunnicutt, Hollywood.
