Georgia pottery show will also
be held on Oct 4. Some of the
local potters will be showing
and selling their pottery, includ

Hewell, Roger Com, Turkey
Merk, Dal Burchall, Dwayne
Crocker, Steve Turpin, Wil-
ford Dean and David Meaders.

Mary and Stanley Ferguson
will hold their family pottery
show at their home in Gillsville
also on Oct 4. Around 30 pot
ters and venders will be there
selling. You can get some great
deals on pottery, food, crafts,
wood crafts, ect. Come out for
a great day of looking and see
ing pottery made in Gillsville.
They will also have a blood
drive in Memory of Bobby and
Danny Ferguson, from 7 a.m.
until 1 p.m. with Life South.
If you are 16 and want to give
blood you can, as long as you
have a parent with you. If you

Silver Shoals Baptist Church
will hold their monthly singing
on Oct 4 beginning at 6 p.m.
Special guest singers will be
the Pressley Trio. Everyone is
invited to attend. The church
pastor is Perry Smith. Hope to

Autumn Leaf Festival will be
gin on Friday, Oct 3. The pa
rade will be held on Saturday
morning. Come out for great
arts and crafts, food and music,

Libby and Gary Tanner,

enjoyed a trip to Florida last
week. They returned home on

Maysville artist John Sperry will appear at the 45th annual Bluff
Park Art Show, a juried fine arts show featuring over 130 artists from
12 states. Sat., Oct. 4, in Hoover, Ala.
The show features two-dimensional and three-dimensional works
